hello, i'm developer of eagleget , sorry for this bug.
but we could not reproduce this bug in win10.
may be the save database action is denied, you can try to run eagleget with administrative rights.

Dear @zpche,
Thanks for replying. As this occurs in about 2/3 of cases, I'm sure that the bug exists in the EG. I think the problem is not because of the access. It is because of database corruption on shutdown! Because, the queue is working perfectly before any app shutdown. Is there any way to check the database of the queues on different stages?

It is really disappointing to take the time and use the software and report the bugs and see such a feedbacks on the reports!!

Can you test the latest version before I go into this?

Sure! The problem exists on the latest version (2.0.4.30), too!

Are you working on this or not?

Whereas if any files in the queue are not completed, they will still be shown in the Queue's section with % completed.

If it was complete, I was happy even not seeing it on the list! The problem is that when the queue time is over and I power on the PC after an automatic shutdown, I only can re-add .egt file again (if it was created before). All unfinished downloads are missing from the list!!!

It still persists after several months in new versions.

It only affects the queues and not unscheduled downloads!

I set the schedule for example 2o'clock and the system shuts down after the free download hours and in the morning all the list is gone! and there is no list of incomplete downloads!

It still persists after reinstalling the windows and the eagleget!

It is mentioned on http://forum.eagleget.com/viewtopic.php … 021#p15021 but no reply!

Please, solve this problem on this great app.

I usually use the queues for schedulling. Then, I had not checked it. Now, I checked it on another PC because I didn't have acess to mine and saw that it works correctly in another PC that has thelatest EG installed!

What might be wrong with my EG? Because, I made the same setting changes to the new PC and it has the same OS (Win 10)!

How can I compeletely remove EG from my PC and make sure the settings are cleaned completely?

Thanks

When you set max.downloads to 1, it downloads the tasks one-by one till every file in the queue has been downloaded.

As I mentioned before, this does not solve the problem! It only starts one download and stops all other links in the queue!

Thanks for you reply. But, do you mean increasing the number to more than 5?! Because, setting that to 1 worsen the situation and it only downloads one of the links on the scheduled time and the rest are stopped!

Hi,

I'm using the EG v2.0.4.22 that has solved a lot of problems with the queues. However, there is a new bug about scheduled queues which has more than 5 links in it.

Whenever, it reaches to the scheduled time, it starts only 5 queued downloads and stops the remaining links without any errors!

A lot of times, I trusted that the EG would download the files in scheduled time. But, I saw only at max 5 files where downloaded!

Please, resolve the bug.

Thanks

Dear Friends,
I'm using Latest Version v2.0.4.18 Stable. There is a serious problem with the new defined queues. I defined a queue for downloading everyday on 2Am till 6Am. It starts and stops correctly on the time but there is an strange problem with the download list. Sometimes whenever I restart the PC (win 10 by the way), I see that the unfinished download list is empty and the queue list is gone and I need to re-enter the files to be able to download!
I think there is a bug on the database of this part that needs fixing.

Thanks

There is feature for Shutdown After Download that can be enabled for all downloads.
However, this feature is task based and enabling it for all downloads are not neccessary and makes it in effeicient. Because, it shuts down the system after every download.

Please, add the feature as a tick for special download task that can be enabled by user per task.

Thanks

Hi,
I have been updating both chrome and EG to the latest versions hoping the problem would be solved in the new versions. However, latest EG (v2.0.4.0) also is not completely working with latest Chrome x64(v43.0.2357.124).
Unfortunately, it doesn't capture most of the links and they start downloading using the browser. Even the menu option which was forcing the EG to download the link is removed from there and I just see an EG icon on the extension bar that shows an exception error & is not working.

Clicking on the EG icon shows that EG has been disabled!

Is this a known bug that is going to be fixed in other versions of there is some problem with my settings.

Please, help me solve the prblem.

Thanks

Hi,
I'm using the latest EG v2.0.2.7.
There is a problem with EG not getting urls that has spaces on them.
For example:

http://www.g.com/sss sss/asw asw.exe

It detects just the first part: (http://www.g.com/sss) & as this doesn't include a known extension for EG, it doesn't start getting it from the clipboard.

It just gets it when its like this:

http://www.g.com/sss%20sss/asw%20asw.exe

I should say this fact for several times now:

These are direct links & they don't expire! They just stop on 99%!

I think it should be a connection problem. EG doesn't timeout the connection that is reponsible for the last part of the download & nothing happens until I stop & start it again!

we have fixed connection problem. please update the v2.0.2.2.

Thanks! It's fixed.

Hi,
Some websites doesn't allow more than one download at a time. Then, I can't add more than one download to the queue. If there could be a limit based on sites that the links are from, it would be a great help.

Thanks

Hi,
I have faced this problem after updating to latest EagleGet v2.0.2.1.
Most of downloads stop downloading the file on about 99%. I should state this fact that it doesn't change to stopped, it just doesn't download anything (0Kbit/s) until I stop & start it again.

First, I thought it depends on the sites I'm downloading from. But, it occurs a lot on different sites.

Thanks

I checked again. This extension is IE-tab:

When I install & try to use it, EG tries to download an exe file I mentioned earlier.
