Silent install opens EagleGet.

I tried a Silent install of EagleGet (1.0.2.0) with these switches " /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART /SP-", no quotes, of course, and at the end of the install, EagleGet opened and insisted that I look at all the ads.  This is not a silent install and needs to corrected.  When I install W7 on my machine, I use an unattended installation and silently install all my applications.  I hope this can be corrected.  Thanks and enjoy, J.

Re: Silent install opens EagleGet.

Hi J, you only need the "/VERYSILENT" parameter to install EagleGet silently. smile

EagleGet, I am using this switch along with the remainder of the Inno installer silent switches (http://www.jrsoftware.org/ishelp/index. … tupcmdline).  I tried with just this switch and got the same result as posted above - EagleGet opens which means I have to manually intervene.  Thanks and enjoy, J.

Re: Silent install opens EagleGet.

Please try out Eagleget v1.0.3.0 preview to check if this problem still exists.

Re: Silent install opens EagleGet.

Response is identical to my original post.  After a silent install, EG opens with the ad pages and cannot be closed until they are all paged through.  I used both the single switch you showed and the full one I used in post #1.  Both did the same thing.  Enjoy, John.

Re: Silent install opens EagleGet.

Hi MisterJ,

I executed the command:

eagleget_1.0.3.0p.exe /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART /SP-

EagleGet has installed successfully and silently, and launched.

I'm sorry but I couldn't catch your mean. If you want to install EagleGet in total silence, you only need to use the /VERYSILENT switch.

Re: Silent install opens EagleGet.

I've noticed the language selection, browser termination, EagleGet termination dialog box during silent install.

I'll hide them in the next version If you don't want them to appear. smile

Re: Silent install opens EagleGet.

eagleget, I think we are not communicating here.  I do many application installs when I do an unattended install of W7.  If applications open, then  I have to intervene to close them.  A true silent install, in my opinion, does not open the application after installation.  In effect I am asking that the "Launch EagleGet" checkbox be unchecked for silent installs.  I will see the ads the first time I run EG.  I do not see the items you mentioned in your last reply, so no need for more work here.  Thanks and enjoy, J.
